Where does the name EBphoto come from?

It comes from the initials of Edouard Bertholet, the main photographer.

What is your style?

Our style is a mix of different styles. We ahve a lot of different inspiration sources and we try to apply them in our images. We love the emotion of the photojournalism, and the glamour look of fashion photography. Our style is somewhere in the middle, always with a romantic twist

From our photojournalisc side, we will follow you on your day and will not interrup a moment. We will observe and capture the moments without interrupting a moment. For the bride and groom, we will give some directions to create stunning portraits.

We are not really fond of kitsch photos, like the peekabo behind the tree, or jumping shots or spot-colored photos (criiiinge!). Seriously. Your grandchildren will not tell you "omg, look at this ridiculous photo, was it taken in 1980?"

How many photographers are there?

You will have 2 photographers, Edouard and his assistant.

How do you count the hours on the day?

We start counting the hours from the moment when we arrive on the wedding location.

How much time should we plan for the bride and groom portraits?

The ideal time is 45 minutes. Of course, 2 hours would be great! However we understand that time flies on the day of your wedding, and we do our best to give you back to your guests.

It is a great moment for the newlyweds to enjoy some alone time together, after the excitement and the chaos of the post-ceremony. Here is the moment to realize all of the events that just occured.

What gear do you bring with you?

My iPhone does great pictures! :) Well, don't worry, we have all the equipment and its backup. It is very important to have backup material, anything can happen at a wedding! ;)

How long do we have to wait to get our photos?

An online gallery with a selection of some photos will be available between 3 and 4 weeks after your wedding, the DVD will be ready in 4 weeks. After your wedding, we will start editing all the photos.

Which image format will we get on the DVD ?

The images on the DVD are high-resolution JPEGs.You will receive the right to print the photos or to share them online for your personal use.

How long will the gallery be online?

The gallery will be online from 3 to 6 months.

How many photos will we get?

Every wedding is different, but we usually deliver 400 images for a 8-hour coverage.

Do we have to meet with you before the wedding ?

We always meet with our couples to talk about their needs, and to present our work and our art. It is also important to see if we are on the same page, and if our style corresponds to your needs.

How can we book you for our wedding?

To book your wedding, we only need a signed agreement and a retainer.

The booking is based on a "first come, first serve" basis. We can only book your date if we have received the signed contract AND the retainer. Since we receive a lot of inquiries for similar dates, we think that this is the best way for us and for our clients too. If you are interested, contact us fast!

What is an engagement session?

This is a photo session done a few weeks or months before the wedding. We shoot on location in Brussels, to create great portraits of you! You can come in normal clothes, or something more fancy. You can see more information in the Wedding section.

This is the occasion to get at ease with the camera, and you will know how we work before the wedding!

Do you need a meal during the day?

Yes, if you have chosen to keep us during the evening! Of course, we stay alert for speeches and special animations during the evening. Caterers often have meals for vendors.

How do you proceed for the albums?

After your wedding, we post your images online and we will give you the DVD. We will start a pre-design of your album with our vision of your day, afterwards you can approved it or ask for changes.

Do you work with film or digital?

We work 100% digital. When we shoot, we capture not only the moment, but we also have a clear vision of the image that we want to create. The possibilities are endless with digital.

What are your prices?

Our collections start at 1099€ for a 8-hour coverage with a DVD of edited photos. We can also work a package with you if you need less hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us quicky!!
